Suggest Remedy For Cervical Lymphadenitis

My 20 yr old daughter has 5 very painful and swollen lymph nodes on right side under ear that go in a line and one is alot larger than the other 4. Her eyes are hurting and sensitive to light. She has a low grade fever 99.6. Sweating off and on day and night. Went to doctor 4 days ago and was given antibiotics.Diagnosis was posterior cervical lymphodemitis. No blood Test done. No changes in the way she feels. Had root canal done on bottom tooth right side about 2 months ago.

Hello,

Her symptoms could be related to an infection (viral or bacterial). For this reason, I would recommend performing some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, blood bacterial culture).

If a viral infection is suspected, further tests may be needed (for mononucleosis, etc). You should discuss this with her doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
