Hi
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

Cephalic position means the baby's head is occupying the lower part of uterus. This is the most common and the optimum position of fetus in uterus. It favours normal delivery.

Head being engaged means that the head has entered the pelvis. In first pregnancy baby's head usually engages at around 37 weeks of pregnancy. In some it engages in later weeks and this is normal. In few it engages with the onset of labour pains (uterine contractions push the head into pelvis) and this is normal too. All these are normal variations.
So don't worry about the head being not engaged.

I hope I have answered to your satisfaction.
If you have further concerns, do contact me through Healthcare Magic.
Best wishes,
Dr Ramadevi Wani.
