Suggest Remedy For Burning Sensation In Urethra And Vaginal Area
I have a constant burning sensation in my urethra and vaginal area. It does not burn after urinating. Urine specimen has come back negative 2x. I had lower back pain on and off for 2 -3 weeks before the constant burning. I had a decaf coffee yesterday morning and have had burning ever since I ve been drinking a lot of cranberry/ raspberry juice which keeps it manageable but I feel swollen inside. Can you help?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Burning sensation which is continuous is more likely to be due to dryness. Also, concentrated urine can lead to burning sensation due to the high acidic content. The lower back pain may or may not be related since it occurred prior to the onset of the burning sensation. In the current scenario, I would ask you to get a proper clinical assessment and please do not go for any self-medication.
Hope this helps.
