Hi,,im very overweight and haven t excersised in ages,not active at all.Any activity I do my heart races and Im out of breath.I was to start walking,excersising but wondering how long should I do it feeling this way?I also have a high sitting heart rate.

Obesity and lack of exercise at all is one of the main reasons for breathlessness during walking and increased hear rate during exercion. But you should also rule out other cause also.
My advice to you is -
1. Increase your stamina gradually by starting daily walking at normal speed for 1 hour. Gradually you increase your walking speed when your stamina will be increased. You can also go for cycling, swimming etc.
2. Consult your doctor and check your blood pressure with him. Go for ecg, 2d echo and if if needed trademill test also as a routine checkup. Your doctor can get most of the ideas about heart disease if any from above three.
3.Do your routine blood tests like CBC, lipid profile, thyroid profile, blood sugar levels etc.
4.Start to reduce the weight by dietary restrictions and exercise gradually. Everything will get better.
