Suggest Remedy For Bleeding During Pregnancy

Hi, I m 14wks pregnant and I was being intimate with my partner. We used a sex aid and afterwards there seemed to be quite a bit red blood. There was no pain or discomfort, and it seems to have settled down now. But I m worried I may have harmed my baby or myself internally.I have not contacted my GP as it is now closed. Do you recommend I keep a close watch on things and if it worsens call the hospital? Thanks

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion intercourse can be advised in 2 nd trimester. So dont feel guilty. But if the bleeding continue or any pain appears I suggest you to meet the doctor.Mostly the bleeding might be cervix.Cervix will be soft in.pregnancy so during the intercourse it might have got injured. But better get it examined.Dont worry.Avoid physical strain.Take rest.
Best regards...Dr.srilatha
