Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been suffering severe anxiety attacks that seem to last forever, my Dr has tried me on tons of meds w/ no success until I ended up in the ER w/ a really bad anxiety attack that last for hours and the Dr gave me Ativan 1mg tablets to take every 8hrs which worked well until today it has only been about 6hrs and I am feeling an anxiety attack coming is it safe for me to take another one of the ativan even though it has not been a full 8hrs?
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Panic attack is definitely due to underlying anxiety and anxiety is usually fear of something which may or may not happen. Such a fear is definitely foolishness. Nobody knows their future and anxiety is worry about future. You should also know that several researches were carried out about anxiety and panic attack and each of them clearly shows that these can be treated with a combination of drugs, yoga, psychotherapy and meditation. You need expert intervention. Such a combination treatment is very much effective.
You need counseling and psychotherapy. I shall provide you with the required counseling and psychotherapy techniques online, to overcome these problems. Please describe the whole problem in detail and post a direct question to me.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
