Suggest Remedy For Abortion At Home

was meant to see my period on the 2nd of this month and its the sixth today,i did a pregnancy test and its positive,i dont want the pregnancy for now,ive been takin amplicox 500mg,wil i see my period or what can i do at home without going to the clinic

Thanks for writing to us.

Abortion is NOT possible at home without doctor's prescription. It is illegal in some country.

For termination, you have to follow these things:

1) You must undergo medical abortion under the guidance of gynecologist, which will be helpful in emergency situation. Don't take those medicine by yourself without doctor's prescription.

2) By procedure, at first, you need to take Tab Mifepristone or Mifegest 200mg (ideally 600mg) on D1, after 48 hrs take 2 Tab Misoprostol 200mg in the morning and other 2 tabs need to insert inside vagina by doctor.

3) You may need double dose sometimes if proper bleeding DOESN'T start within 72 hrs. Soon after taking Tab Misoprostol, abdominal cramp and vaginal bleeding start within 7 days and next period may be earlier/delayed.

4) Post pill abortion, you must do a USG lower abdomen to check retained bits/ conceptional products if any and may need D &C to complete abortion.

5) Practice safe sex by using safe period/OCP/ other methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Understand your concern.
You should not use at home. It require prescription of the doctor as it is illegal in some country
You can use mifeprex abortion kit:
It contain five tablet-Mifepristone 600 mg (One tablet) take orally.
After 24 hr of oral tablet, put four tablet of misoprostol in to vagina.
With in half an hour of punting tablet in to vagiana , bleeding will come out and that is conception product/embryo.
Take proper rest , maintain hygiene and healthy diet after taking pills
Slight bleeding and cramps may occur up to 4-5 days after taking pills.


But if bleeding continues and if associated with fever, chills, abdominal pain , nausea
It may be due to incomplete abortion.
Then consult the gynecologist and take proper treatment.
