My husband is having irregular heartbeat in the evening after lying down he has a history of afib has had ablations but has no other problems except at bedtime
he takes amiodorne and acupril for hbp

Irregular heart beat with the history of atrial fibrillation is matter of concern moreover patient is already of cardiac medicine, irregular beat actually need to be confirmed and for that EKG is the option it is the only test confirmed the arrhythmia, so it advisable to get done the EKG, condition may be due to anxiety and functional disorders but it can not be take that granted and differentiation is must to rule out the cardiac events.
