General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your child symptoms seem to be related to a gastroenteritis. It can be caused by a viral infection which is not presented in the stool test. So, I suggest to continue the medication that you are already using. I also suggest to give him liquids. I recommend a plain diet with banana, yogurt and apple juice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
