Suggest Remedies For Hair Loss And Change In Hair Texture While On Multiple Medications

losing hair and texture of hair has drastically changed. I have been actively loosing weight for the last year. I currently take medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol, high triglycerides, and synthroid. My BMI has lowered from the obese range to 25% I am not due for my annual physical until February and will have blood work done then. should I be concerned with the change in hair? should I contact my Primary Care doc or wait until February?

Hello,
If I am readin this correctly, you have been trying to lose weight and have lost quite a lot in a short period of time. The stress on your body may well affect your hair loss. If, on the other hand, you have not undertaken a dramatic weight loss program and have had this type of weight loss, I would certainly push forward your checkup. In any case, I would suggest you check your thyroid and iron levels in particular.
