Suggest Remedies For Bronchitis In Spite Of Taking Medication
I had a sinus infection that turned into bronchitis and was given a Z pack and Tessalon perles. I have also been taking an expectorant and decongestant. Today was my last day of the Z pack and I am not feeling better. I am still wheezing from time to time, coughing often, and now have developed sharp stabbing pains in my lungs from time to time. Do I need to go back to the doctor. I am worried it might be getting worse or developing into something else.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to a recurrent bronchitis. I suggest to do a chest xray to help through the diagnosis. Meanwhile,I suggest to continue using the expectorant and decongestant. If the diagnosis is confirmed, you may need another cycle of antibiotics.
Hope my answer was helpful.
