Can I Take Foracorte Forte And Levolin When Planning For Pregnancy?
sir, am 24 /F i had cough with wheeze for a month ,1 yr ago. initially it was treated as bronchitis. .later when symptoms didnt subside i was prescribed foracorte forte and levolin. ..when symptoms are controlled i stopped the drugs gradually..but every 2 mnths am getting such episode...and am using inhaler those time,nw am planning my pregnancy.since these drugs are steroids do they have any side effects? pls help me

Hi,
Inhalation of steroids give good control and prevention of bronchitis. It acts only in minute doses with inhalation it acts only locally. I feel in case you need medication in preconception or pregnancy, inhaling steroids would be safe. For oral drugs, Derriphyline would do. Please be in touch with a chest physician and follow his advise. as and when necessary.
