Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

How do you know that you are suffering from typhoid? Have you get it done any widal test or any other tests? Your symptoms should begin to improve within 2 to 3 days of taking antibiotics. However, it's very important you finish the course to make sure the bacteria are completely removed from your body.

Make sure you rest, drink plenty of fluids and eat regular meals. You may find it easier to eat smaller meals more frequently, rather than 3 larger meals a day.

You should also maintain good standards of personal hygiene, such as regularly washing your hands with soap and warm water to reduce the risk of spreading the infection to others.

Contact your general physician as soon as possible if your symptoms get worse or if you develop new symptoms while being treated at home.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
