Suggest Reason And Treatment For Severe Headache On Left Side

hi Doctor, i have severe headache since last night, and its only on left side of my head, my eyes are also getting strained because of the same and my vision is getting blury from left eye only. i do not have any cough, cold or fever. please advise what medicine do i take and what could be the reason for this severe pain

If you would have presented to me this complaint,I would have advised you that you are likely through an episode of 'migraine' headache.Migraine is typically characterised by unilateral headache,which is throbbing(pulse like) in nature.It can be associated with retro-orbital pain,along with visual aura(like blurring of vision in your case or flashing zig-zag lights in some).It is typically triggered by factors like stress,sunlight,smoking,food items like tea,coffee,cheese or chocolate.Please find and avoid your trigger factor for future.Meanwhile,please consult a physician so that he can start you on anti-migraine therapy.I hope it helps.
