Hello dear
Understand your concern
Safe and effective method of abortion is mifepristone plus misoprostol. But it should be used under supervision of gynecologist after getting expert opinion. Do not use abortion pill at home.
Abortion only once does not affect health and future pregnancy.
Pre abortion advice:
Get proper guidance from gynecologist.
Trans vaginal sonography: to confirm intrauterine pregnancy of less than 63 days.

Procedure of taking abortion pills:
Mifepristone 600 mg orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hour.
Dose and schedule can be altered by gynecologist depend upon abortion status.
Bleeding more than period with fetus tissue and clots will pass after 30-45 minutes and will last for 4-6 days depends upon pregnancy age.
Post abortion Advice:
Follow up visit at 7th day
USG at 14th day to confirm incomplete abortion.
Rest for 48 hour, healthy diet with iron supplements and multivitamin, analgesic, antibiotic and maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Choose your contraception to prevent pregnancy.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
