Suggest Opinion On Amniotic Fluid Level And Baby Growth

I am 32 weeks pregnant and my measurements have been the same since 27 weeks which is 29cms i have had a growth scan and the baby's growth is fine for how far along i am but i still haven't grown i have been told my amniotic fluid levels are a little on the low side and they are not concerned what could this be and what does it mean for me and my baby.

Hello,
If you have had the amniotic fluid level index at 8-18, you have normal amniotic fluid content. Even if the levels are on the lower side, you need not worry. Just increase the intake of fluids and protein content in your diet and take as much rest as possible, preferably in the left lateral position. This usually suffices in many cases and improvement is observed. Monitoring is essential throughout pregnancy until term for fetal well being. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
