hello doctor, i'm priya from chennai. i gave birth to premature baby before the term(at the end of 6th month) as my membrane has ruptured. and it died in 20 days. it was cesarean(c-section). after 5 months i again got pregnant. i dont want this pregnancy as me and husband are not prepared as of the moment. how to avoid it naturally. or will continuing this pregnancy affect my stiches in later months? will this abortion affect my next baby?. i'm confused. please suggest me
Hello dear Understand your concern Continuation of pregnancy does not affect the stitches as there is 5 months period is gone. Also remember abortion also not affects the next baby if you will do under the advice and supervision of gynecologist. You can use mifepristone followed by misoprostol for medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy of less than 9 week that should be confirmed by usg scan. Post abortion USG also required to confirm incomplete abortion Do not confuse, I think you should go for pregnancy under advise of gynecologist as you have history of pre term. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
