can you please suggest any pills for preventing pregnancy? actually me and my boyfriend didn't have use any precautions. now i am feeling that i am pregnant. and we both don't want child now. i am just 21 years old and my boyfriend too. is there any pills for preventing pregnancy. i am afraid of abortion. so we want to avoid abortion. please help us

Once you have conceived, there can be no further prevention of pregnancy; you have to get either a medical or surgical abortion based on the situation. Firstly, please get a home pregnancy test if you have already missed a period by a week; else, you can go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres if you are to receive your next period within a week. This test is more specific and sensitive and gives a conclusion. Further management can then be planned. If you are pregnant, see a specialist for an abortion. Hope this helps.
