Hello dear Understand your concern First confirm the pregnancy by UPT (10 days after missed period)/Blood HCG/USG. If pregnancy is confirmed you can use abortion pill for MTP. Safe medicine for medical termination of early (up to 63 days) intrauterine pregnancy (Usg is required to confirm) is mifeprsitone + misoprostol (prescription is required) if it is used under proper guidance and supervision of gynecologist. Do not use this pill at home without guidance of gynecologist as it cause serious complication that require surgery and special care. Mifepristone 600 mg orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally/orally after 24 hour, if no bleeding another two dose should be put by gynecologist after every 6 hour under supervision. Bleeding will start with in 1-2 hour after last pill and last for 4-5 days. For safe practice follow up USG should be done after 14 days to know the completeness of abortion process/incomplete abortion. (follow up after 7 days if bleeding continue).It cause minor side effects like bleeding (more than period), diarrhea, nausea, tiredness, headache and abdominal cramp.
