Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
First, do your complain correspond to under active thyroid?
Normally, after starting treatment with levothyroxine the symptoms of under active thyroid need a 4-6 week period to improve.
So, if your physician has attributed your sign and symptoms to the thyroid disorder, you have to wait some weeks to see the improvement.
If the TSH persists high after 6 weeks, your physician will suggest to increase the dose.
