Suggest Medications For Thick Uterus Wall

hi, i am a 67 yr old female with thickening of the uterus 8.2 , and was on bioidenticals for about 4 years and haven't taken them for about 2 years, been menopausal since 50. 5ft 8 and 146 lbs. what is the course of action and the danger of none. i havn't had any previous history or problems. also havn't been sexually active for many years.

I think what you have mentioned is the thickening of uterus lining i.e. endometrium.
In the postmenopausal state it should be 5mm or less in thickness. Since it is 8mm there is a significant risk (about 7%) of abnormality being present.

If I were your gynecologist I would advise you for hysteroscopy and D &C. This is a procedure to examine the lining of the uterus and take a sample from it to examine under microscope. This will help us reassure that everything is normal or identify the abnormality of precancer or cancer lesion if at all it is present.
