Suggest Medications For Deviated Uvula

Hi I have a friend that has a deviated uvula to right, cant stick his tongue out, has sharp pains in right ear and has constant jaw pain. He has had several MRIs and the dr say they are normal and they cant figure out what is causing this. Have you seen heard anything of such that can help diagnose or relieve the symptom?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query, read and understood your concerns.
Noted the findings about your friend.
The findings can be explained this way.
- The deviated uvula can be due to:
Neurological deficit and needs an opinion of a Neurologist.
Or, local problem like a mass effect or fibrosis to one side.
The inability to stick out the tongue can be explained on the same basis.
Sharp pain in the right ear and jaw pain can be due to trigeminal neuralgia or so.

All things can also be explained on the basis of local problems like some disease like cancer or submucus fibrosis and needs a clinical evaluation and examination by an ENT Surgeon .
I hope this helps you to get a proper diagnosis...
