General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The white patches over the skin can be from various clinical issues as vitiligo or others. If the usual medications are not responding Tinea versicolor must be ruled out in chronic cases. However, if you can provide me a photo picture of the lesion with available reports of skin biopsy or others if available, it would be best to discuss further on the medical grounds.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
