Suggest Medication For Swelling On Ankles And Foot
Hi My husband is on 7.5mg of warfarin due to blood flow and blood clot problems.In the process of it all he s right leg was amputated in May this year and was put on warfarin since. Was wondering if there is a water tablet that he can use and buy over the counter as he is experiencing alot of swelling in he s left foot nd ankel.

Diuretics are medications that help the body to lose excess fluids.
These are not available over the counter but would need to be prescribed by his doctor.
Reducing salt and fluid intake, elevating the limb, may help to reduce the swelling.
There are also compression stockings available for persons with venous disease and associated leg swelling.
