Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

I understand your concerns and we will work together to find a solution.

I see that you have already used an antibiotic, but the pain is still there.
Usually if other problems are ruled out, after you take an antibiotic, the pain should go away. BUT there are times when the bacteria is resistant to that type of antibiotic and the infection is still there

If you were my patient,i would do an urine culture to check for the type of bacteria and the wright antibiotic to be used.

Also would recommend an ultrasound of your urinary tract to rule out other problems (stones in the bladder, polip ect)

For the pain i would recommend ibuprofen or buscopan.

Also you need to help your body to heal itself.
Keep drinking plenty of liquids. Cranberry juice is great to treat UTI.
Also don't hold your urine for long.

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
