Suggest Medication For Itchy, Red And Raised Rashes On Inner Thigh

My question is about a rash on inside of thigh. Very itchy. Red ,slightly raised on top of our side edge. Was small now is spreading. Was just in Florida heat and humidity seems to have irritated it more.what can I use to clear it up. Hydrocortisone didn't help.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain itchy, red and slightly raised rash over the inner thigh can be due to a few causes like Contact Dermatitis caused due to irritation or allergic reaction with certain Detergents, cosmetics, soaps etc..
It can also be due to fungal infection causing Tinea Cruris..
I would suggest you to first of all keep the area dry, clean and free from moisture..
You can apply antifungal creams like Clotrimazole, Terbinafine etc for reducing infection..
In case if it does not resolve in two weeks an Oral antifungal therapy like Griseofulvin, Terbinafine or Fluconazole can be advised..
In addition to it wear loose fitting clothing, cotton undergarments and avoid moisture or humidity in that area..
