Suggest Medication For Irregular Menstrual Cycle After Having Unsafe Sex.

Hi I'm 18 and i have a question a menstrual cycle concern.Before my cycle came on i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend.My cycle came on april 15 and stayed on until april 22.When it went off me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex.A week later on may 2 it came on again(well i think its a cycle and its still on now) it has little blood clots and is much heavier than the first one.The reason why i am so concern us because this is the first time it ever came a week apart.I really don't know what's wrong but i really would like to know.I haven't went to the doctor yet.

1)First of all do not panic.

2)If you are worried about pregnancy due to unprotected sex I will suggest to get morning's first sample of urine checked for pregnancy. In case of any doubts blood beta HCG test and USG will be helpful.

3) USg will help to rule out PCOS which a common cause of irregular menses.

4) I will suggest to get proper sex counselling done. Use of barrier method like condom, will not only save you from the stress of unwanted pregnancy but will also give protection from STDs.

5) I will suggest Tab PAUSE MF 3 times a day to control heavy bleeding as when needed.
