hemoglobin related problem at the moment.
Pan 40 per se is not for digestion at all as it only controls the acidity in stomach hence your father needs the following in such a situation that he is having stomach wind, it means gases and acidity:
To continue Pan 40 for acidity,
Get a clinical evaluation and examination by a Gastroenterologist.
Upper GI
Endoscopy to see for the acidity related problems.
Tests of stool for three consecutive days.
Tests of blood for CBC,
thyroid, liver and kidney function.
Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen and CT scan if indicated.
Once a proper diagnosis has been made the treatment will be easy to carry on.
Get a proper course of medications which may be a course of an antibiotic,
metronidazole and probiotics.
Avoid the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems.
Avoid aerated drinks and nuts.
Have fresh home made foods only.
Check for the source of water.
