Suggest Medication For Extreme Sharp Chest Pain
heart pounds with chest pain
hello im a 22 year old female. for the past 2 weeks I've been having extremely sharp chest pains. my hearts tends to pound, and sometimes speed up. the pain varies, sometimes it last 2 minutes and sometimes 20. but for the first time last night the pain woke me up out of my sleep. the pain travels through out my body sometimes... to either my arm, back or neck. I've been researching it but my pain gets worse by the day. I don't wanna go to the er if its not necessary but I don't have insurance to see a doctor. so I've just been in pain, hoping it goes away.

In my opinion, possibility of stress and anxiety related symptoms is more but better to get done ecg to rule out heart diseases because heart diseases can cause similar kind of pain.
If ecg is normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Stress and anxiety appear more in your case.
So avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Counselling plays very important role in control of anxiety along with drugs.
