Suggest Medication For Cough

my child is at the age of nine female and having cough for one month and can,t sleep due to cough at night with big noise no cough but big sound and dry cough we have given Benadryl for one week but no effects and try ambroxol the effects is same and docter told that her chest is clear what to do with her and what medicine you sugest I am planiing to give alex p

Erythromycin is the drug of choice for whooping cough.
You can use bronchodilator syrups for relief of spasmodic cough .
If no relief within 10 days better consult pediatrician .
