Dear parent, the most common cause of recurrent ear infection is enlarged adenoids . enlarged adenoids can be a site of Focal sepsis that spread to the ears leading to. recurrent ear infection. this is an indication of removing the adenoids using surgery to avoid further complications . I recommend you start with removing adenoids before inserting ear tubes
