Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Painless blood in stool may be due to internal hemorrhoids or colitis.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Take high fibre diet and do regular exercise, drink plenty of water.

Eat green leafy vegetables, use metamucil or fiber for bulk formation of stools.

Use syrp Lactulose. Consult your physician for prescription. If symptoms do not improve, please consult your surgeon who will examine through proctoscope and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
