Hello and thank you for your question. Exercise and a low carbohydrate diet are very important to help you lose weight. Exercise can be just walking but it needs to be 30-60 minutes every day. Carbohydrates are sweets, fruits and starches such as rice, pasta, bread and potatoes. If you can do the exercise and cut back on the carbs you will lose about half a kilogram a week and that is a good weight loss plan Regards
