Suggest Diet Regimen For Colonoscopy Procedure Preparation

I am having a colonoscopy on Tues. The instructions say eat a light breakfast. What is considered a light breakfast? Should that be eaten a couple of hours prior to starting the medication? I will be taking Suprep and am supposed to take the first dose at 8 a.m. and the second at 8 p.m.
