Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I have read your question fully and understand your concerns.

Your symptoms of lethargy and hair fall point towards hypothyroidism. As you rightly said you could get your Thyroid function tests done. Can I also advise you to get a complete blood picture done (to check for haemoglobin and blood counts) to rule out anaemia as a cause for lethargy. I am unsure about the cause of frequent bowel movements as you have not added anything in your history about any other associated stomach symptoms. It could be due to irritable bowel as well. Hair fall and tiredness can also happen if you are recovering from a major illness (here, in your case from malignant malaria). You could eat a well-balanced healthy diet, take a multivitamin like A to Z or Zincovit and get the blood tests done.

I hope this answer has helped you.

Thank you

Regards
