Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had pain in my left wrist for about a month. I hurt it when I was trying to get up on a wakeboard behind a boat. I didn't let go off the ski rope soon enough and was pulled. Since then, the pain has settled down a little. It hurts during certain movements of my wrist, especially when holding an object palmside up. I can feel the pain down my forearm, like through a cord running down my arm (the palmside). No swelling, redness or bruising. Just weakness when using in certain ways and a little achy from time to time. But I can definitely feel the "cord" that hurts. What do you think? Will seeing a doctor do me any good? Thanks for your input!
