Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have had a headache just behind my eyeballs and on the right side of my face even in my gums i feel thumping and a little bit nauseous for the last 3 days in a row and today also in the evening. this subsides when i take tylenol but i am worried as i have been under stress lately i am headed for a stroke?
Hi, thank you for your question. There are various types of headaches. From the symptoms you mentioned, yours could very likely be cluster headache, since it is unilateral, lasting for days and severe in intensity. If you have had alcohol or nicotine recently, this could have made the attack worse. Stroke is unlikely because it is associated with other symptoms such as focal neurological defects, loss of consciousness , vomitting, etc. Hope this helps. Thank you for visiting healthcare magic.
