Suggest Contraceptive Medication With Least Side Effects

Respected Mam/Sir,

Most respectfully I beg to state that I, Aunkita Biswas, am a girl of 18 years residing in Barrackpore (Kolkata). Recently me and my boyfriend are planning to get intimate without using a condom but the problem is 2 years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and underwent 1 year treatment. Now I have regular periods without any sort of medication. I have heard contraceptive pills have adverse effect on one's health which leads to delayed menstruation, nausea, vomiting, etc. I will be highly obliged if you kindly suggest me a good contraceptive pill which has low side effects. I will be using it only ones.

Thanking You

Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
First, I would like to inform you that does not exist any contraceptive pill with zero side effects. Contraceptive pills are used regularly every day for as long as you have unprotected intercourse and don't want to get pregnant. They are not used once only, and they don't prevent pregnancy in this way.
Pills used after an unprotected intercourse to prevent pregnancy are called emergency pills, and are taken in two tablets within 72 hours after the act.
The best contraceptive method that has not side effects and prevents form the pregnancy and STD-s is the condom.
You can chose to have sex in your days which you are not fertile without using contraceptive methods. Infertile days are in the first week and the last week of your cycle, but I would like to say you that this method does not provides you 100% warranty. In my opinion you and your boyfriend should talk to have secure intimate relationship using condoms.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot.
Thank you and best regards!
