hello,
Dolichocephaly is not always serious, since the condition ranges from mild to severe.but it can be associated with developmental disabilities that can result in mental retardation or Psychological problems such as poor self-esteem,depression when your kid gets older. An abnormal shape of skull may lead to difficulties with chewing, swallowing, and breathing.
There is an option of surgery with best results.
