Suggest Better Treatment For Cervical Dysplasia

hi! my name is Adel and my question is 2008, I was told that had cervical dysplasia and cells around were abnormal. so the doc did laser froze some abnormal cells then did the leap cut around the cervix and now I was told to hysterectomy. the doc ,he has not told me nothing about my ovaries, cervix, or other parts of my reproductive tars. the only thing he said was that some of the vagina area needs to come out. I am scared I have no one to help me to recover in the healthy way. also worried because the doc did not check my ovaries how healthy they are, endometio or whatever is call. I just would like to know ,the time of recovery,do I really need to do this or is there any other choices ? why some docs scare people ? how long will take me to recover? I really need to go back to work, I always hated to just sit at home and do nothing . I am very type A person I need to be moving. do you also have advice for this ?

Hello,

Cervical dysplasia is a pre-cancerous condition and not a full-blown malignancy.

You can go for hysterectomy.

Nothing much to worry and your treatment is on the right track.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
