Suggest An Alternative Remedy For Irregular Menstrual Cycle Apart From Duphaston

Hello docs! I m 21 and I have Pcos. My period has never been on time ever. I m taking duphaston to induce the bleeding 1 pill a day. I am not sexually active so I m sure it s not pregnancy. It s been 8 days on duphaston and still no bleeding! Help! Thank you!

Hallow Dear,

Since you are continuously taking Duphaston pills, you are not getting menses. After discontinuing the pills, you will have withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days.

Any birth control pill is also effective in initiating the withdrawal bleeding. It also has to be taken in the same fashion. The bleeding starts within 4-7 days after discontinuing the pills.
