Suggest Alternative Medication In Place Of Warfarin
I have been out of warfarin for 2 days and have been trying to get a new PcP but they don t have appts for weeks, so I have Ben unable to get a refill. I recently found that my clot (in the main artery right leg) has hardened. What do I do until I can get a new prescription?

Your concern is regarding alternate drug to Warfarin. So you can use higher group of drug as compare to Warfarin like Apaxiban, Rivaroxaban and Dabigatran. However, you need a prescription to get such medication.
