Suggest Alternative Medication In Place Of Comtan

I have difficulty using Comtan because of nausea and belly pain but I noticed those sxs came after abdominal bloating so I take something over the counter like gas-X 30 minutes before Comtan. I also prefer something like saltines in my stomach when I use Comtan. That has changed me from never gonna take that stuff again to yet this really works well for my off time. YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, you can use Motility agents like Domperidone or Itapride before meals for symptomatic relief. If constipation also present stool softeners may also be used along.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
