Suggest A Treatment For Cough & Cold

my 02 yrs daughter have a cough lasting 3 weeks.she has no other symtomps as such; except a lttle cold. she is coughing generally at night morning after awakening from sleep. our doctor has prescribed- cough syrup and cepodoximine, but no such good result. what can i do? plz help

I can understand your concern.
Your daughter is having chronic cough (cough for more than 15 days) and not improving with routine cough medicines. So we should definitely rule out lung infection in her case.
Lung infection is common after cold in pediatric patients.
So better to consult good pediatrician and get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.. She may need higher antibiotic and other supportive drugs.
Don't worry, she will be alright with appropriate drugs.
