Suggest A Remedy For Irritated Gums After Using Power Toothbrush

I switched tooth brushes (manual to power) after about a week of brushing I noticed my teeth didn't look the same. They seemed not clean. I switched back to a manual brush but now my gums are irritated. Is this because the power brush wasn't giving me a full clean? How can I help my gums?

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that your gums are irritated either due to gum infection or there is a possibility that you have brushed the teeth and gums too deeply and vigorously leading to irritation and inflammation of gums..
Nothing to worry as either of the conditions are treatable..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in planning the treatment..
In case of infection Scaling followed by antibiotics and painkillers and topical gum paint application can help..
In case of irritation of gums taking anti inflammatory painkiller and apply gum paint and numbness mouthwash application can help..
Do warm saline gargles..
Use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
