Suggest A Nutrition Formula For My Baby Girl

hello,

my baby girl is 6 months old weight 6.6 kgs,birth weight 2.75 kgs,my milk supply is very low she was on formula feeds(enfamil a+) right from birth,later she is on both formula and brestfeeding 40%.now i want to change the brand as it is costly,but still want a formula which is economical as well good in nutrition.i stay in india.

Hi...I suggest you start giving her home made cereal porridge as she is more than 6 months old. You can introduce one cereal at a time (rice/ dhal/ pulses etc) and start giving her all seasonal fruits. Add ghee to all your preparations to make it more calorie dense. There is no need or proof that only costly formulas will give good energy for the baby. To be frank I always suggest all my patients to give only home made food.
