Suggest A Diet Plan While Training For A Sport

Hi my daughter plays a high level of netball and is very fit, she trains 6 days a week. Every Saturday morning she trains at 7.00 for 2 hours mainly strength and cardio with her coach and team, she usually eats an hour and a half before training but always feels really sick when training, can you suggest what she could eat prior to training so she doesn t feel sick, she never feels sick any other time at training only when training early morning. Thanks Kerrin

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You need to check her muscle mass, also improve her stamina with good protein intake. So that it will help her out throughout the day. Increase her fluid intake, give her prior workout protein rich diet or a protein milk shake. You can choose whey protein along with almonds 12 in numbers or a banana or mango to manage calories.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
