General & Family Physician 's  Response
Since you are a known diabetic ,your readings of blood sugar are considered as normal.
It is good that there is no albumin in your urine.
Make it sure that you keep your blood pressure below 120/80 mm of Hg.
Your medicines are perfectly all right.
Make sure that you keep your sugar levels, your BP and your cholesterol levels all within normal parameters laid or a diabetic.
Apart from medications do the following..
Never let your weight increase and keep your calories in check
Do regular aerobic exercises for 40 minutes a day
Quit smoking,if any
Keep a 6 monthly watch on your kidney function tests.
Get your eye examined regularly to look for any side effect of diabetes in your eyes, like retinopathy.
