Suffering With Irregular Periods. Advised Citromecalvit, Menopause ISO. Guidance?

Hi,I m 41 yr old and suffering from irregular periods.Consulted 2 gyna and one has advised me to take tarana to get regular periods but the other doctor warned me that its not safe to take tarana for long period hence advised me 3 tablets-modus for 5 dys after 45 dys waiting for periods;citromecalvit -1 tab for lifelong and menopause ISO-1tab again for life long . Please advice me.

Well I assume your complete examination, trans vaginal USG and PAP smear have been completed and so also your essential lab works. If all were normal, which might not be the case since the dr advised u to take Citromecalvit, I agree that it would be better to stick on to min hormone exposure by taking only modus x 5 days for withdrawal bleeding in this age grp for regularising pds rather than taking COCps. well , needs to know more in terms of ur TVS reports n menstrual calendar. Also it wuid b worthwhile to check Vit D3 levels n do a DEXA to objectively assess your bone mineral density status.
