Suffering From Thyroid. Taking Thyroxine, Having Side Effects Of Medication. What Should Be Done?

Hi, I have been suffering from Thyroid since 2 years now, recent reports (2 months back) are as follows:
1. T3- Triiodothyronine (Serum)= 0.961
2. T4- Thyroxine (Serum)= 6.91
3. TSH- Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (Serum)= 5.790
My doctor has given me "Thyronorm 50 mcg", I am taking these tablets since 1 month, now since 2 weeks I am surreffing from constipation and stool has become very hard and anal is paining very much.

What should I do?

Also is this possible to tell which type of Thyroid I have by the above measures (Hypo or Hyper)?

Thanks for your query at HCM.
Above symptoms can be due to thyroid medication.
My recommendation would be visit the doctor prescribed thyroid hormone and discuss about dose adjustments.
From thyroid profile value above mentioned it seems your suffering from Hypothyroidism. so doctor has requested you for thyroid hormone intake.
